“ We had their grand finale menu. The service was excellent, from the greeting by the host, to the continuous water refills, they even fold your napkin when you leave to use the restroom. The view cannot be better. Each diner was seated at the window with a beautiful view, and we didn't even have to request a seat by the window. The courses themselves were great and we left feeling full. It's actually more like 10 courses between the amuse bouche and the extra dessert and a parting gift of banana bread. Well worth the coin. It will be exciting to see what replaces Eden following the renovations but I am glad we finally got to experience it. For parking, we parked in the paid lot, got a ticket from the machine. Upon checking in for our reservation they handed us a coupon to scan while exiting the parking lot, therefore free parking. ”

“ Eden is the most amazing dining experience ever!! My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here and were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in. The service is beyond 5 stars from each person we interacted with. The food was on another level. We both went with the 7 course menu and it was better than we imagined. “ Fantastic dining experience. The food, views, wine pairings, and overall service were the best ive experienced. We found that the Hokkaido cream cheese was a particular standout among the dishes, although every course was fantastic. We were helped by Matt, Rob, and Melissa, and the service was fantastic. The whole team was energetic, funny, and a delight to be around. The only down note of the evening was we found out that the restaurant will be permanently closing on Labour Day due to renovations, which is a shame given how passionate the team is and how well the experience is curated. A must-go while its still around! ”

“ We visited Eden for our one-year anniversary and the bottom line is that it was the hit of our time in Banff. We stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs and visited 1883 Chop House, Grizzly House, and Sky Bistro during our stay. Sommelier Robert and Waiter Matt were both equally impressive and charismatic. My wine glass was never empty and we exchanged stories about trips and wines with Robert and his personality and excitement were hugely infectious. Matt ran off and fetched us a coffee table book with pictures and history of the Rimrock Resort after we expressed interest. His descriptions of each dish on the seven course (although I counted a few more than that!) tasting menu were sophisticated and yet he was entirely approachable and engaging in conversation. The food was nothing short of fantastic. The sauce that came with the Icelandic sole was luxurious and Matt insisted we take another basket of bread to enjoy it with—absolutely the right maneuver. The Camembert pre-dessert was rich and interestingly sweet and savory. The Tokaji Aszu dessert wine pairing was phenomenal—we ordered more. We were presented an additional “take home” course and received a complementary ride down the mountain to the Fairmont on conclusion. Words can’t do the experience justice—we had an incredible time at Eden. Complements to the chef, Matt, Robert, and the rest of the team that made our anniversary such a special occasion. ”

We had some incredible tastings with a beautiful Aged Champagne, smoky white wine, a beautiful Canadian red wine from Okanagan Blue Mountain, and a delicious Bordeaux region red wine to finish. We had some amazing canapes from the chef that paired so well with the wines delivered by the chef himself in the cellar! ”
